On February 17 and 18, 2025, BIBA hosted the first working meeting of the Wind-X project. The aim of Wind-X is to develop a data space for the wind industry that enables cross-company data exchange in the areas of “Traceability and Logistics” and “Digital Twin in the Production and in the Field”. This is based on existing initiatives and concepts that are transferred to the requirements of the wind industry. These include GAIA-X and Catena-X for the data room and the Industry 4.0 administration shell for the organization and format of the data to be exchanged.

The meeting at BIBA not only provided valuable insights into the Manufacturing-X and IPCEI-CIS project landscape, but also the opportunity for partners and interested stakeholders to contribute their perspectives on relevant use cases and requirements. We look forward to further cooperation and taking joint steps towards an innovative wind industry!
