In order to establish the required availability, maintainability, quality and safety of production systems, considering the whole system and the entire production cycle, industrial companies are increasingly considering the use of predictive maintenance, taking advantage of condition monitoring capabilities. In one of our projects, we developed a general framework for predictive maintenance and an associated unified information system to implement predictive maintenance strategies in industrial operations.
