On February 19, our virtual impulse seminar took place in cooperation with the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Bremen-Oldenburg. It offered an insight into the technologies for increasing transparency in supply chains. Our colleague Michael Teucke, digitalization expert at the Center, presented innovative solutions that seamlessly integrate mobile sensor technology, gateways, cloud platforms and digital services.

The seminar showed how quality-relevant environmental influences and condition-relevant data from transports can be comprehensively recorded and digitized using mobile and stationary sensors. These data-based approaches enable companies to identify potential transport problems at an early stage and decisively safeguard product and process quality.
