Once again, BIBA participated in the MINT4girls project organized by the Education Center for Business in the Unterweser Region (BWU) to inspire female students in Bremen to pursue careers in production and logistics research. On September 24, 2025, we welcomed two groups of 8th and 9th graders from Sandwehen High School to the BIBA research hall.
In the BIBA Hackspace, the girls were able to experience technology up close: from product design for 3D printing to manufacturing small components with a laser cutter to personalized giveaways—everything was planned and implemented by the girls themselves and could be taken home. This hands-on insight sparked interest in STEM professions and highlighted possible career paths in engineering.
