As a research institute with a clear view of the future of maritime infrastructure, BIBA was able to present current research results at this year's IHATEC / DigiTest / DTW conference at the Federal Ministry of Transport on June 11 and 12, 2025. Together with our partners such as bremenports GmbH & Co. KG, Aimpulse Intelligent Systems GmbH and Trenz Electronic GmbH, BIBA is working on innovative solutions for digitalization in port operations in the Port2Connect, ROBUST and SAMS projects.

Whether intelligent monitoring, precise sensor technology or open interfaces - the goal is clear: more transparency, more resilience, more future-proofing for Germany's waterways and transshipment hubs. The conference was an excellent opportunity for exchange and networking - with a lot of tailwind from the industry, new impulses and exciting discussions.
