On 13 June 2025, BIBA was represented with LogDynamics at the 4th Industrial Mathematics Forum ‘Mathematical Impulses for Maritime Systems’ in Bremerhaven. Topics such as autonomous underwater vehicles, maritime robotics, route planning and energy management on board seagoing vessels took centre stage. These innovative systems offer enormous potential for the future of shipping and also play an important role in BIBA research.

The networking event under the sails of the Alex II was particularly impressive - an inspiring setting for exchanging ideas and making new contacts.
