At this year's research seminar of the Academic Society for Work and Industrial Organization (WGAB) on the topic of "Digitization of the work environment for sustainable production" at the University of Luxembourg, BIBA was awarded the prize for the best employee presentation. In the contribution Hendrik Stern and Michael Freitag dealt with the topic "Human-Centered Design of Hybrid Cyber-Physical Production Systems". The main question is how a good and human-centered design of the collaboration of humans with intelligent, autonomously acting systems in the production and logistics of the future could look like. The authors focus in particular on the idea of human-autonomy teaming as a possible form of work in which humans and machines work together as partners and highlight existing findings and open research questions.
The WGAB Research Seminar 2022 was held in Luxembourg on September 9 and 10. The corresponding proceedings have been published Open Access by GITO-Verlag and are available online
