Curriculum vitae

Burak Vur studied Mechatronics at the University of Applied Sciences Munich and spent a year abroad at Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom as part of his studies. He then pursued a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering with a focus on Robotics and Automation at the University of Bremen. During his master’s studies, Mr. Vur worked as a student research assistant at BIBA, where he contributed to the KoMILo project. In this project, he developed interfaces for interactive human-robot communication and worked on the integration and application of collaborative robotic systems and autonomous mobile transport systems. His master’s thesis focused on developing an innovative control concept for a robotic arm based on the precise detection and interpretation of human hand positions, specifically designed for use in collaborative assembly.

Since April 2022, Mr. Vur has been working as a research associate at BIBA. His research focuses on the development of intelligent robotic systems, adaptive control solutions, human-robot collaboration (HRC), and machine vision. Central to his work is the practical implementation of these innovative technologies in industrial applications.
