The BIBA-coordinated project “Competence Transfer, Learning Support and Work Cultures for Responsive Dynamic Value Creation Structures” (KLAWEST) has been launched, with the kick-off meeting taking place at BIBA on November 25, 2025. Together with the Institute for Information Management Bremen GmbH (ifib) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO), BIBA is conducting a preliminary scientific study on the future of value creation in Germany with a focus on continuing education in production and logistics. The aim is to develop four consistent visions of the future that derive practical options for action and strategic guidelines for companies, educational institutions, and political actors. Methodologically, scenario-based analysis and a multi-stage Delphi method are used to validate the results.
The KLAWEST project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space (BMFTR) and supported by the Project Management Karlsruhe (PTKA). BIBA would like to thank everyone involved for a successful kick-off and looks forward to working together.
