"This is the best Girls' Day I have ever been to!" - raves a young visitor after the guided tour in the BIBA research hall. "We saw how robots work hand in hand with humans and were even able to program a robotic arm ourselves!".
Another workshop offered playful insights into the topic of simulation and modeling. Participants were able to turn buildings and objects on the university campus into 3D models. The analogy to virtual three-dimensional worlds, which are familiar to the young generation from computer games, generated enthusiasm.
BIBA's activities took place as part of today's Girls' Day. The day is aimed at schoolgirls who want to learn about natural science and technical fields of study and professions.
