The WertNetzWerke Summit 2026 in Oldenburg focused on concrete, practical solutions for SMEs—particularly AI, data strategies, and resilient value-creation networks. Interactive formats such as World Cafés, roundtables, an escape room, live demos, and a factory tour at BÜFA provided opportunities for hands-on experimentation, discussion, and networking.

Together with the Mittelstand-Digital Center Bremen-Oldenburg, BIBA contributed to the World Café with the topic “Data Transparency as a Lever for Lower Maintenance Costs” and presented our demonstrator “AI-Supported Assembly Workstation for Human-Robot Collaboration.” The discussions confirmed once again that data strategy and AI deliver tangible benefits for SMEs—from more efficient maintenance to safer, more productive collaboration between humans and machines.

The summit’s takeaway: many new contacts and actionable ideas—digitalization has the greatest impact on SMEs when it is practical, understandable, and approached collaboratively.
