On June 17 and 18, 2026, BIBA participated in the networking conference for the funding programs “Innovative Port Technologies” (IHATEC) and “Digital Test Beds in Ports” (DigiTest) at the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) in Rostock.

The event provided a platform for professional exchange among the funded projects as well as between representatives from research, industry, and government. The focus was on presenting current developments in the digitization of maritime infrastructure and discussing future areas of innovation and application. In addition, participants used the conference to network with other initiatives within the funding programs.

This exchange made it possible to identify common challenges, discuss potential synergies, and share experiences and project results across the boundaries of individual projects.
