In this video, you will learn how Croll & Denecke, a specialist retailer of natural cosmetics based in Bremen, has mastered the transition to future-proof warehouse logistics in collaboration with the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Bremen-Oldenburg and BIBA. The project focused on reorganizing the historically grown warehouse structure and making better use of existing IT resources, in particular the ERP system.

Through targeted analysis and redesign of processes, impressive savings potential was identified: for example, walking distances during order picking can be reduced by up to 50% and process times significantly reduced. Particularly noteworthy is the pragmatic approach that enabled the company to implement many of the optimizations quickly and with little effort on its own. The digitization project thus impressively demonstrates how practical support and scientific expertise can strengthen small and medium-sized businesses in the northwest and make digital potential tangible.
