From September 8-12, 2025, we welcomed Prof. Dr. Enzo Morosini Frazzon (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, UFSC) and Prof. Carlos Eduardo Pereira (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, UFRGS) for a research work mission within the joint project Prophecy - Prognostic Model Selection for Predictive Maintenance and an Integrated Reinforcement Learning-based Production Scheduling in Dynamic Manufacturing Systems.

The visit focused on presenting the current project progress, discussing research exchange missions between Brazil and Germany, coordinating joint publications, and defining the next steps for the development of the project. This project is part of the Collaborative Research Initiative on Smart Connected Manufacturing (CRI-SCMfg) and is jointly funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - German Research Foundation and the CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior.
