AI in logistics? Absolutely!

On April 16, 2026, Supply Chain Day, BIBA, in collaboration with the Mittelstand-Digital Center Bremen-Oldenburg, focused on cybersecurity for smart logistics.

The program featured topics such as humans as a (non-)security factor, zero-trust strategies, cybersecurity in logistics practice, and post-quantum cryptography—presented in concise keynote talks and as a starting point for further discussion. Afterwards, the BIBA shop floor lab transformed into an interactive expo: Participants were able to experience deepfake and live attack demonstrations, solutions for automated driving at auto-terminals, AI-supported assistance systems for port maneuvers, and a forklift with person and object recognition in real time.

We would like to thank all speakers, exhibitors, and the visitors for the stimulating exchange.

The event was organized by BIBA and the Mittelstand-Digital Center Bremen-Oldenburg. Cooperation partners included: the Cybersecurity Transfer Office for SMEs, the Mittelstand-Digital Centers in Augsburg, Berlin, and Magdeburg, LogDynamics, the BVL Regional Group Weser/Ems, the Bremen Chamber of Commerce, Umwelt Unternehmen, and the Oldenburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Thank you very much for the great collaboration!

Together, we are continuing to drive the secure integration of AI into logistics, thereby shaping the logistics of tomorrow: automated, resilient, and secure.
