On November 20, 2025, BIBA hosted the event ‘Innovative Energy Concepts – Energy Flexibility and Grid Serviceability’. Presentations by Dyke Wilke (Flexality), Markus Trapp (BIBA), Ulrike Dreyer (IE2S) and Günther Zinsser (Frerichs Glas) focused on the practical aspects of energy-flexible production, the more economical operation of cold stores, holistic energy strategies, and storage and procurement models for industry. It became clear that the energy transition is not only happening on rooftops, but also in processes, strategies and collaborations between research and industry.
