On December 8 and 9, 2025, all ten project teams participating in the “Circularity in Everyday Life” competition exchanged ideas at the Volkswagen Foundation's Circularity Ideas Forum at the Xplanatorium in Hanover. The focus was on which communication formats work well, how target groups can be reached, and what challenges lie ahead.

In our workshop, developed in collaboration with the Pilzschmiede Academy, participants were able to make a candle holder out of cardboard and mushroom mycelium on site. The participants clearly enjoyed it and showed great interest. Another highlight was the premiere of Sven Kamin's poetry slam about the potential of mushrooms and mycelium-based materials.
